Welcome to Hanut

Hanut is your personal leather patina diary — built for leather lovers to catalog their beloved leather goods, track how they change over time, and watch their unique color and character evolve right before your eyes. We built this app for the community that cherishes the journey a leather item takes as it's worn and used, and we want your experience using it to be simple, intuitive, and completely yours.

You do not need to create an account or log in to access any core feature of Hanut. All functionality is available to you right after download, no hoops to jump through.

What You Can Do With Hanut

When you use Hanut, you can do all of these things to build your personal leather collection log:

• Create custom item profiles for every leather piece you own, tagging each with its brand, category, and any custom details you want to add
• Capture dated photos alongside usage notes, so you always remember when and how you used your item
• Browse a clean visual timeline with a chronological gauge that lets you scroll through the entire history of your leather's journey
• Compare any two photos side by side with an interactive slider to see just how much patina has progressed over time
• Run a pixel-level color analysis that quantifies exactly how your leather's hue has shifted from the first day you brought it home
• Log all your care treatments — oils, conditioners, waxes, cleaning products — to build a full maintenance history that lives alongside your visual record
• Search and filter your entire collection by name, brand, or category, so you can always find the item you're looking for in seconds
• Build a lasting personal reference for how different leather types and brands age with regular use, all on your own device

Your Content, Your Control

Since you don't need to log in to use Hanut, all of your data stays on your device. Your photos, notes, profiles, and analysis results never get sent to any external server unless you explicitly choose to back them up to your own personal cloud storage. We don't access, collect, or share any of your personal leather collection content. That's all for your eyes only, always.

Community Guidelines For Use

To keep Hanut a nice tool for everyone who loves leather, we just ask that you:

• Use Hanut only for its intended purpose: tracking and documenting your personal leather collection
• Don't modify, reverse engineer, or repurpose the app into a new product without our permission
• Don't use Hanut to upload or store any content that doesn't belong to you, or that doesn't relate to your leather tracking

These are just common sense guidelines to keep Hanut working well for everyone.

Updates To Hanut

We're constantly working to add new features, improve existing tools, and make your patina tracking experience even better. We may roll out updates to the app from time to time that add new functionality or adjust existing features. We'll always make sure that any update preserves your existing data and doesn't change the core experience you know and use, unless we add optional new features you can choose to use or not.
